WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
In Alberta there are several insurance providers that cover Athletic Therapy services. It is always best to check in with your provider to learn the details of your specific plan. To see if your provider may cover Athletic Therapy, follow the link below.
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
You do not need a doctor's referral to book an appointment with the Gentle Athletic Therapist. This being said, I would love to be in touch with your primary care physician to build a plan together.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
Your first visit will involve an in depth history and assessment. You can expect to experience range of motion and strength testing, special tests that target specific structures and in some cases, nerve testing. At the end of your appointment I will also provide you with home program exercises, and in clinic treatment as time permits.
